Trello Vs Dropbox

Keeping everything straight when you move from project to project throughout the day is challenging enough for one person. But when it’s an entire team trying to make sense of where things stand, things get really complicated.

Trello Y Dropbox

We’ve been working to reduce that complexity by bringing the tools you use every day into the smart workspace we’re building. In June, we announced a partnership with Atlassian to bring their products together with Dropbox. And today, we’re helping your team get in sync and manage projects more easily through a new integration with their Trello project management tool.

Trello cards are your portal to more organized work—where every single part of your task can be managed, tracked, and shared with teammates. Open any card to uncover an ecosystem of checklists, due dates, attachments, conversations, and more. Trello Dropbox Power Up

Trello’s made a name for itself by giving teams the flexibility they need to collaborate effectively. So by integrating Dropbox with Trello, we’re bringing together your content with their project coordination, so you can meet your team where they’re working.

This feature, just one of the integrations we’re building with Atlassian, will help your whole team cut down on constant app switching. Here’s what you can do when you connect Trello to your Dropbox account:

Add Dropbox content to Trello cards

Now instead of copying and pasting links, you can send content from the new Dropbox desktop app or dropbox.com straight to Trello cards—no need to switch apps. You can even create new Trello cards from your Dropbox content. Not only does this save you time, it also ensures that content you add to Trello stays up to date.

Preview Dropbox content in Trello

Attach Dropbox files to your Trello cards, and everyone will see automatically generated previews for over 175 file formats without leaving Trello. No special software required—that means teammates can view PSD files without Photoshop, PPTX files without PowerPoint, and more. Plus, viewers can open previewed files directly in online editors like Microsoft Office Online and G Suite, and have changes saved back to Dropbox.

Dropbox files added to Trello cards are displayed as thumbnails so anyone can get a quick look at shared content without clicking. Plus, you can grab shared links by copying them directly from thumbnails.

Trello Dropbox Integration

We’re excited to give your team yet another way to bring together your content and tools—and focus on the work that matters. This new integration is rolling out to all Dropbox users starting today. You can get started by connecting your Trello and Dropbox accounts and installing the Dropbox Power-Up for Trello. And stay tuned—we’ve got plenty more in the works with Atlassian.
